My week.

Welcome to Sophie's update of how long... OH YEAH A WEEK.

My life isn't that interesting but still you will listen to my epic adventures.

Number 1: I passed my mock. If you were wondering.

Number 2: I went on an art trip and this is what I have to show for it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfpjRosSBhU

SHHHH it's unlisted. And ma coursework. INTERNET UNITE.

Number 3: I'm trying to make money through l'internet so here is my society 6 page:
http://society6.com/blondeandblueeyes
I sell photography. I will upload some art. Soon.

Honestly I don't make much money out of this, I make $2 approx per image. Any purchases makes me love you with all my heart.

Pretty please?

Number 4: I went to Camden in London and Platform 9 and 3/4 and Oxford Street

I will post everything I got but here is my top until then.
That's not me btw. I'm not a model.
Camden is so cheap so yey!

Number 5: I am going to upload some music to BUY OMG on bandcamp by myself and with my friend Lizzy.

Another cray money making scheme.

Favourite shop of the month: http://thephotographersgallery.org.uk/

It sells photography books and cameras for £30. £30! And they know what they're doing!

Also I want to do this http://www.geocaching.com/

It's basically a treasure hunt AND there are ones near my house.

Nina. Maiya. There are loads over the river from you so can we go? I will facebook you.

Exciting times, eh?

And to finish:

Au revoir mes petits pois

THIS WILL BECOME A THING.

Titles are too mainstream.

MY FRIEND MAIYA HAS A BLOG: http://maiyasrandomblog.blogspot.co.uk/

I should stop probably posting gifs of muppets.

Kermit stop it you're hurting my eyes.

But she is AMAZING and her blog is also amazing I mean it's STARRY. STARRY.

She is also a very good blogger because she is an english genius and here I am in my physicsy world. Come join us.

I have just finished Pride and Prejudice. I read it because I love the LBDs because Darcy and I actually preferred the book.

*bracing myself for the hate*

It's just... I don't know. The LBDs are a little slow moving.

I'M SORRY I'M SORRY!

I have an ad maths mock tomorrow.

WHY HEAD OF MATHS WHO I WON'T NAME ON THE INTERNET? WHYYYYYYY?

However I am meeting up with my band (hipster) on Wednesday. I would put a gif of John Greens happy dance but I'm over giffing you. I LOVE GIFS AND JOHN GREEN AND THE MUPPETS.

Don't know if you can tell.

Two of my friends have recently become veggy with me, one semi-perminant and one for lent and maybe permanent. That's Maiya. The lent one.

Come join me in my palace of tofu and lentils and Tibits (the best restaurant ever. Apart from maybe the Gate). We have fun in this cheesy world of animal rights and quorn sausages!

I shall go now as I need to tidy but

au revoir ma petits pois.

because none of my images have worked.

John green is spell binding

Last Sunday I watched john green at cadogan hall in London and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
John was insightful and deep and wonderful and was really honest about his book and esther earle and his time as a chaplain at a children's hospital. His honesty and humour really makes the vlog brothers and his books.
John said how he wanted to make tfios funny and his wife would tell him it was really sad. The thing is tfios is both of those things and that really is what is brilliant about john green. He also talked about esther (I am so sorry if I've spelt that wrong) and how her wit and humour really brought something to hazel but in no way were they the same person.
Hank was extremely funny and his performances were brilliant. He is very funny as a person and his music is brilliant. He can also do the George watsky rap which is very impressive.
Overall I had a wonderful time. Thank you vlogbrothers

The Virgin Suicides

I haven't looked great all weekend and now my art coursework is due for tomorrow so I can't make a video. aaahhh I'm in youtube cold turkey.
I'm trying to edit an old video. It didn't work.
I've just finished the Virgin suicides which I really enjoyed but the descriptions were kinda gross.
Oh look sophie is obviously going to pass gcse English with these skills.
I really liked how it was written in fourth person (is we fourth person?) and it was truly enchanting. Mind you, I think I would recommend it to readers older than me. It's very gory.
It's about five blonde sisters who all are fancied by the boys across the road who collect artifacts to do with these girls. It's very obsessive.
I should probably sleep now. I can feel my tonsils telling me they will infect soon. Please no. I really am looking forward to john green. I just hope the girl I'm going with can come. She's in Malaysia. Her grandfather just died.
And on that merry thought goodnight!

Well.

I'm currently reading the virgin suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides which is brilliant but a bit graphic.
The 2nd suicide attempt is extremely gory and I am really squeamish. If you're wondering what it's about it's about virgins who kill themselves.
I'm just not into teen fiction mostly, with the exception of john green, because all of it's about cancer and vampires. Maybe I just don't like young teen fiction. I like merging on adult books.
I am trying to read a book a week this year and I have read:
Will Grayson Will Grayson (****)
Karen Bradys autobiography (***)
Toms midnight garden (for my art) (***)
The thorn and the blossom (*)
And now the virgin suicides
Also I'm really really really looking forward to going up to London with chitra to see john green, but I also really want to go to an independent bookshop as there is an amazing map on the web.
And now
For a final thought my friend bryony did up a desk with stuff from childhood in the 1970's and carved WE ARE NOT WHO WE USED TO BE into the front. I don't know. It's a nice thought Enjoy my ramblings.

Whut iz dis?

Well I'm at my friend Nina's ( http://ninjaswithmoustaches.blogspot.co.uk/ ) and we are both INTERNET  PEOPLE.

Interneters pretend to be normal and have a life in the open, but we know... WE KNOW ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE INTERNET.

Anyway, I'm called Sophie with an undying love for Alaska, John Green in general, youtube and John Green. It consumes my life. Literally.

I love EVERYTHING!!!!!! Nah, complete lie. I like the smell of rain, which has a specific word but I've forgotten it, reading, the muppets, posters, procrastinating, playing guitar and music (IMAGINE DRAGONS). I like snow but not the cold. I like rain but not getting cold. I love radiators with every fiber of my being.

I also like Nina (check her out, honestly).

I have a twitter: @sophiecantvlog

I also have a tumblr: sociallyawkwardsophie
