The Virgin Suicides

I haven't looked great all weekend and now my art coursework is due for tomorrow so I can't make a video. aaahhh I'm in youtube cold turkey.
I'm trying to edit an old video. It didn't work.
I've just finished the Virgin suicides which I really enjoyed but the descriptions were kinda gross.
Oh look sophie is obviously going to pass gcse English with these skills.
I really liked how it was written in fourth person (is we fourth person?) and it was truly enchanting. Mind you, I think I would recommend it to readers older than me. It's very gory.
It's about five blonde sisters who all are fancied by the boys across the road who collect artifacts to do with these girls. It's very obsessive.
I should probably sleep now. I can feel my tonsils telling me they will infect soon. Please no. I really am looking forward to john green. I just hope the girl I'm going with can come. She's in Malaysia. Her grandfather just died.
And on that merry thought goodnight!

Well.

I'm currently reading the virgin suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides which is brilliant but a bit graphic.
The 2nd suicide attempt is extremely gory and I am really squeamish. If you're wondering what it's about it's about virgins who kill themselves.
I'm just not into teen fiction mostly, with the exception of john green, because all of it's about cancer and vampires. Maybe I just don't like young teen fiction. I like merging on adult books.
I am trying to read a book a week this year and I have read:
Will Grayson Will Grayson (****)
Karen Bradys autobiography (***)
Toms midnight garden (for my art) (***)
The thorn and the blossom (*)
And now the virgin suicides
Also I'm really really really looking forward to going up to London with chitra to see john green, but I also really want to go to an independent bookshop as there is an amazing map on the web.
And now
For a final thought my friend bryony did up a desk with stuff from childhood in the 1970's and carved WE ARE NOT WHO WE USED TO BE into the front. I don't know. It's a nice thought Enjoy my ramblings.

Whut iz dis?

Well I'm at my friend Nina's ( http://ninjaswithmoustaches.blogspot.co.uk/ ) and we are both INTERNET  PEOPLE.

Interneters pretend to be normal and have a life in the open, but we know... WE KNOW ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE INTERNET.

Anyway, I'm called Sophie with an undying love for Alaska, John Green in general, youtube and John Green. It consumes my life. Literally.

I love EVERYTHING!!!!!! Nah, complete lie. I like the smell of rain, which has a specific word but I've forgotten it, reading, the muppets, posters, procrastinating, playing guitar and music (IMAGINE DRAGONS). I like snow but not the cold. I like rain but not getting cold. I love radiators with every fiber of my being.

I also like Nina (check her out, honestly).

I have a twitter: @sophiecantvlog

I also have a tumblr: sociallyawkwardsophie
